Covid 19 Clinic Updates
Updated: Dec 7, 2020
We are committed as ever to improving our patients quality of life through our services, and we're taking additional precautions to ensure that each treatment is safe and comfortable, for patients as well as staff. Here are the transmission prevention measures we are taking in clinic.
Double screening patients at time of booking, and at beginning of appointment, using a forehead thermometer and covid questionnaire.
I wear a disposable surgical mask during appointments
Avoiding unnecessary contact with patients
Using additional clean techniques to ensure that hands-on therapy is performed with minimized risk.
Increasing cleaning regimen by disinfecting all shared surfaces, and equipment before and after each appointment. Leaving a 15 minute+ buffer between appointments for disinfection.
I will be washing/sanitizing hands before, after, and during every appointment.
I will stay home if feeling unwell and return only when completely symptom-free.
the 24-hour cancellation policy will not be in effect if you are feeling unwell or sick.
video conferencing or phone calls for health consultation is available.
I am keeping myself informed via the BCCDC and CTCMA, to ensure my protocols are appropriate to the circumstances.
What patients can do:
Patients are asked to use hand sanitizer upon arrival
Patients are asked to wear a mask/face covering while sharing indoor air. *Patients may refuse for medical reasons and will not be required to elaborate.*
If you are showing covid like symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who recently tested positive for Covid 19, please get in touch and choose to stay at home.
If need be, cancel or rebook appointments with as much notice as possible.
If you are immune compromised please take great caution.
Be in touch if you would like to arrange for a remote health consultation.
If need greater clarity about any of these protocols, I'll be happy to answer any questions.
